The Easter Bunny

Today, both Mommy and Daddy had the day off work, so we decided to take Emmie to the Easter Bunny. This took a little convincing on Mommy's part since Daddy hasn't had much experience with the Easter Bunny. He was a little afraid that Emmie would cry because "Stranger Danger". Seriously! We got Emmie all dolled up in another outfit that "Ma" has given to Emmie and off to the mall we went. When we got to the mall we were behind to other Moms with their babies. Both Moms oood and aahhd over Emmie saying that she was such a beautiful baby. Well, duh, Mommy has known this from the beginning. One asked if they could arrange a marriage to their baby boy. Daddy promptly said, "No". I'm sure that this will be a sign of things to come in the future. When it was Emmie's turn for the Easter bunny, Daddy handed her over, very hesitantly I must add. He stood to the side and called her name to make her smile. She took one wide-eyed look at the Easter Bunny then focused all attention on Daddy. The camera lady then made Daddy stand behind the camera and call her name since she was more interested at smiling at Daddy then the camera. Mommy told the camera lady that Emmie is especially smart for her age because babies don't typically recognize their parent's voices and faces until month three and Emmie is only 9 weeks old! I'm not sure if she was too impressed but we are! Overall, the trip to the mall was good. Emmie didn't score any loot but Daddy got some new shorts and shirts since he got over his fear of the "Easter Bunny Stranger Danger". Wednesday is our 2 month check up. We are predicting 13.5 lbs and 22 inches long. Mommy will update with her progress on Wednesday!
