Emmie's Tricks!

So....Emmie has learned that she can wrap Daddy around her little finger and Mommy has been on the losing end of the stick! All through Mommy's pregnancy, she made Daddy promise that she would still be number one and it seems this week that she has been demoted to number two. Emmie has learned that if she starts to babble and "sing" around 4a.m., Daddy will rush to her crib and bring her in to our room to sleep for the remainder of the night. Daddy gets one half of the bed and Emmie gets the other half. This leaves Mommy, Esmerelda and Midgie left to sleep in the spare bed, ugh!!! Daddy's rationale for this....Emmie is scared of the dark. Yes, Daddy, that's why she is happy, singing and babbling when you go into her room!

Emmie has been a very busy girl this week! She has made trips to Mommy's friend, Lisa's house, so Mommy can have her hip fixed. She made a trip to Mommy's work again. This always makes Mommy a little nervous because her patients want to hold her. Mommy just says NO! She went to Toy's R Us and bought the Rolls Royce of Exersaucers, so Daddy says, but what the heck, Mommy had a coupon! She also had a visit from two cousins she hasn't met, Eli and Millie. One of Daddy's younger sisters was in Omaha and she brought her two children over to see Emmie and to look at the new house. From what Mommy heard, they think she looks like her! That's what Mommy thinks too, Mommy's looks and Daddy's personality!

Emmie is at Grandma and Grandpa's house once again! She is a lucky little girl and I'm sure getting spoiled as Mommy types! She is celebrating Mommy's birthday and Mother's Day with Grandma. Aunt Kara has promised to take Emmie for a stroll around the neighborhood, which she is looking forward to! She also has big plans to go see Momo! Mommy expects pictures of all these events, and this time Grandma and Grandpa, include yourselves in the pictures!
