3 Month Old Emmie

Emmie turned 3 months on Tuesday and boy has she grown! She started off at 8 lbs and 19.5 inches and now she is 13 lbs and 25.5 inches, to the best of Mommy's estimation. Emmie is definitely growing like a weed and is learning new things each week. Emmie is a great sleeper for her age. Her bedtime is 8 pm and she sleeps until 5 am. She takes a bottle and then goes back to sleep until 9-9:30. Mommy is very grateful of this because she works 10 hour days in a nursing home and is at work before 7 am. We are very fortunate because Emmie doesn't have to go to daycare. Mommy's biggest fear was daycare, but fortunately Mommy and Daddy have alternating work schedules! Emmie is sure a lucky girl!

Some of Emmie's favorites...
*Music of all kinds, but especially "Waltzing Matilda". Grandpa sings Waltzing Matilda on the phone to Emmie and she laughs out loud. Maybe she just thinks Grandpa is tone deaf!
*Daddy's Day and Hair Spa. Emmie gets styled by Daddy each day, which she loves
*Esmerelda and Midgie, our two cats
*To be the center of attention at all times
*Ceiling fans and the lights at Wal-Mart.
*Designer outfits!!
*Pedicures
*Licking anything she can reach, ick!
*Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Kara (Mommy knows that they read this!)

*Her nails to be filed
Well basically, that's the only things Emmie doesn't like, she is just an easy-going baby!

Emmie left today for Grandma and Grandpa's house. They will have her Wednesday through Sunday. Grandma has big plans for Emmie. So far, they are going shopping, visiting Kara and having lunch with the fabulous Momo. Mommy is having withdrawls from Emmie already and hoping she can make it to Sunday. Mommy has told Grandma and Grandpa to take lots of pictures for the blog, so if Mommy doesn't blog next week, its because Grandma and Grandpa forgot to take pictures (hint hint).

Mommy didn't have much time to take pictures this week since the baby has been "Snoozie Suzie" all week. Luckily, Mommy found some good ones from last week to share!
