Emmie's first walk

Mommy has been determined to get Emmie outside for her first walk for several weeks, however the Nebraska weather has not been cooperative, imagine that. Finally, on Thursday evening, Mommy, Daddy and Emmie were able to take their first walk together. We walked around our surrounding neighborhoods so Daddy could get some landscaping ideas for our front yard. We were very suprised to find that Emmie could sit up in her stroller so the baby carrier was not needed! At first, we heard lots of jabbering and giggles from Emmie then silence. When we checked on Emmie, we found her to be sleeping pretty soundly. Guess she enjoyed herself!

On Monday, Grandma and Grandpa are coming to Omaha to watch Emmie for the week. This will help Mommy tremendously since she returns to work on Monday, ugh. Emmie is very excited for walks and storytime with Grandma and Grandpa. Pictures to follow!
